Be A Speaker

Embrace Change

Dear Colleagues,

we invite you to submit proposals. With four days of in-depth sessions on a variety of topics, we seek regular sessions lasting 90, 60, or 45 minutes (Wed-Fri) as well as both half- and full-day deep dive workshops/tutorials (Tue).

Your proposals should either be technical and oriented toward software architects or targeted at project leaders/decision-makers who work in an enterprise environment. The participants expect an excellent overview of the state-of-the-art in modern software engineering. The sessions should focus either on promising concepts for the future or on cutting-edge techniques that are suitable for practical use today; the latter includes experience reports and case studies.

As we constantly have to overcome various challenges in our industry, this year’s theme of OOP is Embrace Change. With this in mind, we’ll explore the following questions: How can the impact of digitalization and sustainability be leveraged economically? How do new EU legislation (e.g., both the EU AI and also the Accessibility act send their regards) change user experience? How do altering cybersecurity threats affect our systems? How can we deal with changing requirements even late in development? And how can different needs and expectations of young generations be integrated in our structures for everyone’s advantage?
