Sustainable OOP
SIGS DATACOM, as the organizer of the OOP, as well as our handling partners for the conference (including Messe München, Käfer Catering and Plan3 as stand builder) are aware of their ecological responsibility in the
implementation of events and act as sustainably as possible. We know that this is just the beginning and we will continue on this path. Here is a selection of changes that have already been implemented to promote sustainability:
- fewer print brochures through digital conference app
- Digital document management
- Reuse of conference ticket sleeves
- Special prices for travel with Deutsche Bahn
- Use of solar and photovoltaic energy and green electricity
- Use of water-based paints without solvents
Exhibition stand construction
- Local trade fair construction partner (short distances for materials and personnel)
- Modular exhibition stands on a rental basis
- Reusable exhibition walls, furniture and lighting
- Materials that are not reused are recycled
Catering
- Increased supply of regional and seasonal food
- Reduction of animal-based foods
- Reduction of disposable materials
- Fairtrade coffee
