Instructions for submissions
Submission deadline: July 1st, 2024
Please submit your proposal(s) using the online form at: https://www.conftool.pro/oop2025/
You will find all instructions in the online form.
Presentations can be in German or English: Write your submission in the language of your presentation.
Acceptance Criteria
We will use the following criteria for evaluating the submissions:
- Quality of content and innovativeness: The sessions should be relevant and enable the participants to apply the learning in their day-to-day work. Conceptual submissions are possible, but to be accepted, they should be outstanding. Experience reports or case studies are highly welcomed.
- Presentation form: We prefer sessions that allow the audience to get engaged and actively participate, although we understand that this only works for some topics.
- Speaker: We embrace hearing new and diverse voices. We suggest considering pair-presenting as a way for more inclusion.
- Attractiveness for participants: Sessions with clear goals (especially within the core target groups) and exclusively for the participants (no repetitions from other conferences) will be rated higher. The same is true for sessions that focus on this year’s theme, Bridging the Gap.
We highly recommend using the “Additional Information for the Program Team” in the submission system to convince the program committee, why they should choose your submission and what makes your submission so special
Notification of Acceptance
The decisions regarding which proposals will be included in the final program won’t be made before the end of August. In some cases, we may contact you for additional information before making our final decision.
