Katrin Grothues

Katrin Grothues has been working as Product Owner in agile teams for 6 years now. After her studies in applied cultural science she started in a big multi-channel retailer in northern Germany. Her first professional years have been shaped by classical waterfall development methods. Fortunate she had the chance to start with agile development with AutoScout24. Now at BMW she is responsible for ConnectedDrive Stores in the head-unit and the native apps.
In her professional career she worked with different agile methods, e.g. scrum and Kanban, and with a variety of user research and user testing methods. What drives her is the question how to incorporate the theoretical discover-build-measure-learn approach outside the ideal world of a start-up into the more realistic world of establishes companies.
