William (Bill) Savage

William (Bill) Savage is the vice president of the Software and Services Group and general manager of the Developer Product Division at Intel Corporation. He is responsible for Intel’s developer products, including Intel® Parallel Studio XE, Intel® System Studio, Intel® XDK for HTML5 and Integrated Native Developer Experience (INDE). These products allow software developers of all types to take full advantage of Intel platforms from phones to the data center. In addition, he is responsible for hardware software co-design projects, working closely with Intel design teams on future software technologies for Intel microprocessors.

Savage joined Intel in 1990 as a software developer working on Intel compilers.

Savage holds a degree in Computer Science from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
