Mike James

Before joining Xamarin in early 2013 as a support engineer, Mike worked in the entertainment control industry, developing systems for numerous installations, including the London Eye. His passion for mobile development began when building apps to empower site engineers to control installations’ lighting from their phones. After joining Xamarin and spending a year with the support team, Mike moved to join the Evangelism team as a Developer Evangelist, where he engaged with the Xamarin community throughout Europe. During this time, he’s contributed to a number of popular Xamarin projects such as Xamarin Evolve, DevDays and building sample apps like My Driving and HealthBiz. The last two years have seen Mike focus on how best to leverage Azure technologies in mobile scenarios.
