Customer Data Mapping: Map your data for data-driven marketing and service communication

Uhrzeit: 09:30 - 10:00
Vortrag: Mi 1.1 2)

Service and marketing activities are increasingly characterized by the intense use of data and algorithms. For successful customer communication, businesses must learn how to use customer and customer behaviour data in the best possible way. The workshop method “Customer Data Mapping” assists businesses in visualizing their data sources of complex system landscapes and extracting information from data. It pursues the objective to establish an understanding of data across teams of beginners, data experts and decision makers in order to interlink analytics stronger with marketing and service communication. The presentation introduces the method and provides a case study from CrossEngage - a Customer Data & Engagement Platform that supports businesses in integrating a company’s data silos for consistent customer communication.

A model for digital project’s success

Uhrzeit: 10:00 - 10:30
Vortrag: Mi 1.1 3)

We define in this study the success of digital projects and influencing factors using a literature review and expert interviews. The results suggest five critical factors to be monitored: the length of the project, the organisational level of the end user, the size of the organisation, the level of definition of the vision and the goals, and the transparency of the actors. A concept of success is also suggested, in two dimensions: the level of completion of the explicit objectives, and the acceptance of the end users. The model may be used to base the analysis of the changes brought by a digital project in a way that is relevant for praxis and coherent with the scientific body of knowledge.
