Year after year the OOP conference presents top-class speakers as well as state-of-the-art technical information. Next to connecting delegates, sponsors and speakers, the OOP conference also offers great ways to relax and opportunities to come together in a relaxed atmosphere:

Real-time graphic recording is a visual tool that can effectively support any processes where people share ideas, thoughts and information with each other. They are presenting, paying attention to what is happening and making notes in words and drawings using colorful markers on a large sheet of paper (120x150 cm).
Take your chance and become a moderator at the Open Arena. We offer you the opportunity to influence the program and create your own sessions.
Use the schedule boards for your individual topic. Dive deeper into the ideas from a session you have previously visited, propose missing topics you would like to discuss and network with your fellow delegates, speakers, etc.
Have a good time at the Open Arena at OOP 2016!
Atari 2600, Sega Master System or the Super Nintendo Entertainment System – for the 25 year’s jubilee of the OOP conference, we won’t just look into the future but also reminisce about past memories. Take a break from everyday life and relive the memories of your past with classic video games of the 80’s and 90’s.
On the back of the chat‘s success in previous years, this year again five prominent representatives of the IT business will discuss the IT sector‘s
• most significant,
• and amusing
news as well as trends of the year gone by. Lean back and enjoy Nico Josuttis and his guests taking a tongue-in-cheek look at our business, in a relaxed atmosphere and reflecting on events in a manner that may well reveal a few surprising facts.
In this year’s Welcome Reception OOP celebrates its 25th anniversary. We would like to invite all delegates, sponsors, exhibitors, speakers as well as authors and guests to network and interact in a relaxed setting with finger food and drinks.
Ward Cunningham, James Grenning & Arie v. Bennekum
In 2016 the Agile Manifesto celebrates its 15th anniversary. We have three originators of the Agile Manifesto at OOP and will hear from the source about the creation in Snowbird, Utah in 2001. We will use a method called „Collective Story Harvesting“, where all participants distill important aspects by concentrating on selected perspectives. Besides hearing James‘, Ward‘s and Arie‘s stories with the ears of all participants, you might get inspired to use „Collective Story Harvesting“ in your context.
